This event aligns with the Ministry of Culture’s policy to promote Soft Power through cultural dimensions in accordance with the ‘20-Year National Strategy’ and the ‘13th National Economic and Social Development Plan’. The initiative aims to enhance the grassroots economy, support the cultural industries, generate employment and income, and foster social value. In particular, it seeks to establish creative local spaces as platforms for expressing community identity, passing on local wisdom, and inspiring children, youth, and the wider public.

The event featured a wide range of cultural exhibitions, demonstrations of local wisdom, and sales of cultural products and services, alongside performances from various cultural groups across Phuket. All of this unfolded in a vibrant atmosphere rich with cultural heritage and enthusiastic participation from the public and tourists alike.

The “One District, One Creative Space & Local Wisdom Market” initiative stands as a vital platform for translating cultural policy into tangible outcomes, cultivating pride in local heritage, and reinforcing Phuket’s identity as a sustainable global cultural city.
