Phuket – On July 26, 2024, at 9:00 AM, at Layi Beach, Moo 3, Kamala Subdistrict, Kathu District, Phuket, Mr. Samran Sinthong, Secretary-General of the Andaman Natural Resources Conservation Foundation, along with Mr. Jutha Dumlak, Mayor of Kamala Subdistrict Administrative Organization, and Ms. Nattakanya Saengpho, Executive of Andara Resort Villas, as well as representatives from government agencies, the private sector, and the public, participated in the activity of releasing turtles and marine fish back into the wild at Kamala Beach, Kathu District, Phuket.
This event was organized to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of the Royal Coronation of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024, and to promote community development in conservation, expand marine life populations, and emphasize the importance of community management. Additionally, it aims to promote and support the conservation of marine species within the subdistrict, enhancing the sustainability of local food sources.
