Phuket – On January 15, 2025, at the Anantara Mai Khao Hotel, the Heinecke Foundation held its annual scholarship award ceremony. The event was presided over by Mr. Somavisut Supanpai, Deputy Governor of Phuket, and attended by representatives of the foundation, teachers, students, parents, and local community leaders.

Mr. Somavisut Supanpai stated that the Heinecke Foundation has provided valuable opportunities to the youth in the area by offering scholarships. These scholarships not only enable students to continue their education but also help build a solid foundation for their future, allowing them to grow into important contributors to society. He expressed his gratitude to the Heinecke Foundation for its ongoing support and wished the youth success in their studies, encouraging them to continue developing themselves and their communities.

The Heinecke Foundation was established in 1995 by Mr. William Ellwood Heinecke, founder of Minor International Public Company Limited, with the goal of supporting education for underprivileged youth across the country and fostering community development by providing educational opportunities to needy students.

This event serves as an exemplary collaboration between the private sector, government agencies, and community leaders in promoting education and nurturing youth to become a vital force for the development of Thai society.
