Phuket – February 12, 2024 – Banbangneaw Municipal School organized an academic exhibition and Open House event, titled “BBN Talent Party: Dek (Ja Ma) Uad Dee!”, at the school. The event aimed to provide students and teachers with the opportunity to present their academic projects, showcase their talents in various fields—including academics, arts, music, and performances—and strengthen cooperation between the school, parents, and the community in enhancing educational quality. 

The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Saroj Angkanapilart, Mayor of Phuket City, with the presence of Ms. Panna Phromwichian, Phuket Provincial Education Officer, Mr. Wutthichai Bamrungrat, Phuket Provincial Local Administration Officer, as well as heads of government agencies, representatives from public and private sectors, parents, and students. Dr. Panjaporn Chotikaew, the school director, delivered the opening remarks. The ceremony featured a lion dance and Chinese drum performance, a Sien Na dance performance by the school’s dance club, and traditional Thai music performances. 

In the morning session, a special lecture on “The Future of School Education in Phuket” was delivered by Ms. Panna Phromwichian, followed by an award ceremony for the 2023 Royal Scholarship recipients from Banbangneaw Municipal School. 

The event featured a variety of student performances across different grade levels, including a Science Show, a Western music performance by the BBN Symphonic Band, choreographed dance performances, a Thai martial arts dance show (Keeta Muay Thai), a Four-Region Thai Dance performance, and a Cover Dance show by students. 

Additionally, interactive learning stations were set up for special programs in science, mathematics, and environmental projects, along with collaborations from external organizations, including the Phuket City Municipality Medical Division, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Division, CIC Phuket Learning and Skill Development Center, Phuket Public Library, Prince of Songkla University (Phuket Campus), and the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (Phuket Branch), among others. 

The academic exhibition and Open House “BBN Talent Party: Dek (Ja Ma) Uad Dee!” served as a significant platform for students to enhance their potential, express their abilities, and exchange knowledge with teachers, parents, and the community. This initiative plays a crucial role in advancing and sustaining the quality of education for the future.
