
Germany – Mr. Sophon Suwannarat, Governor of Phuket, along with Mr. Thanet Tantipiriyakit, President of the Phuket Tourist Association, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), led a delegation of Phuket tourism business operators to participate in Pre ITB 2025 and ITB Berlin 2025 from February 25 to March 6, 2025. The objective is to promote tourism sales and expand Phuket’s market opportunities in Europe.
This participation is supported by the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization (PPAO) and aims to enhance Phuket’s image, provide opportunities for business operators to connect with international partners, and present travel packages to stimulate tourism revenue.

At these events, Phuket’s tourism operators engaged in discussions with international travel business representatives to expand networks and attract high-potential tourists to the province. The event brings together global tourism industry participants, including buyers and sellers seeking business partnerships.




For ITB Berlin 2025, the Phuket Tourist Association has secured exhibition space to promote Phuket as a world-class tourist destination, emphasizing the concept of High Value & Sustainability to attract high-spending travelers and support sustainable tourism.
Additionally, every year, Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi attends the event and visits the Thailand pavilion, further enhancing Thailand’s international tourism image.
Participating in this roadshow and ITB Berlin 2025 marks another significant step in expanding Phuket’s tourism market in Europe. It is expected to attract quality tourists and continuously stimulate the province’s economy.
