Phuket – February 3, 2024 at 1.30 pm, Lifestyle in Thailand Co.,Ltd. hosted a press conference for Phuket Fashion Week 2024 at the Phuket Jewelry Fair event, 2nd floor, Central Phuket Floresta.
Phuket Fashion Week is scheduled to take place on March 15-16, 2024 at the White House, Boat Lagoon, Phuket. Event schedule will feature the ‘Young Fashion Designer Contest’ and ‘Phuket Super Model Contest’ on March 15, and on March 16 there will be showcasing of clothing from various brands by Phuket designers, Thai designers and international designers. The event will also be including the awards giving to the winners of the competition on March 15, 2024.
The objective of this event is to drive the national Soft Power strategy, support the flexibility of local businesses and promote the culture of Phuket province through fashion design. The fashion show will showcase traditional fabrics from the southern region, introducing them to both Thai and international audiences through the perspectives of new generations.
Within this press conference event, the organizer had clarified the condition of “Phuket Super Model Contest,” competing for the title of the sole SUPER MODEL in Phuket with a total prize value of over 20,000 Baht. The contest is open to beautiful individuals who identify as female or LGBTQ+, aged between 15-23 years, with a height of 160 cm or above.
Additionally, there was a press conference for the “Young Fashion Designer’s Contest,” competing for a total prize value of over 20,000 Baht. The contest is open to talented young designers aged between 15-23 years from across Thailand. The competition will take place on March 15, 2024, at Boat Lagoon, White House, Phuket. The winners will have the opportunity to showcase their designs at Phuket Fashion Week 2024 on March 16, 2024, alongside Thai and international clothing brands. Applications are accepted from today until February 29, 2024.
Furthermore, there were fashion shows featuring clothing brands, including LA VIDA, ARITA, BABA PHUKET, PEEYA BY PIYATIDA, and JESSARA. Additionally, internationally recognized brand like PHUKET FASHION CLUB was also showcasing at this event. The runway will also feature models from the applicants of Phuket Super Model Contest 2024, alongside modeling talents from MAMAYING, including friends of the modeling industry such as Ayo Kim, and Chaya.
