Phuket – On August 15, 2025, Colonel Adul Chuthong, Deputy Governor of Phuket Province, presided over the opening ceremony of the Muaythai Phuket Festival 2025 at Robinson Lifestyle Chalong. The event was also honored by the presence of Associate Professor Pimol Srivikorn, President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand; Mr. Chalam Attatham, Vice President of the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization; and Mr. Samran Jindapon, Mayor of Chalong Municipality.
Organized by the Sports Authority of Thailand through the Office of the Boxing Sport Board, the Muaythai Phuket Festival 2025 takes place from August 15–17, 2025. The event aims to promote the Muay Thai soft power industry and sports tourism, as well as to support and drive economic stimulation at the local level through competitions and Muay Thai-related activities.
