Phuket – October 8, 2025 – The province of Phuket held the landmark event “Digital Night 2025” at the Metropole Grand Phuket Ballroom, Courtyard by Marriott Phuket (Phuket Town). The highlight was the knowledge-sharing forum “Go Digital, Grow Big, Grow Fast”, officially opened by Mr. Saranyasak Srikruanet, Governor of Phuket.
The event brought together key leaders including Ms. Chuenporn Kanjansaya, Chairperson of the Andaman Southern Industrial Council, Mr. Montawee Hongsyok, President of the Phuket Industrial Council, and Mr. Amarit Franzen, Chairman of the Digital Industry Group, Federation of Thai Industries. Also in attendance were executives from the Federation of Thai Industries, digital entrepreneurs, government agencies, and private sector representatives.
The forum featured panel discussions on diverse aspects of digital transformation and technology, such as:
- “Powering Thai Industries with eCommerce” by Mr. Chaitat Kamolwisit, Head of Sales and Business Development, Ascend Commerce Co., Ltd.
- “Applying AI to Enhance Organizational Processes” by Mr. Amarit Franzen, Co-founder and Chief Business Development Officer, AppMan Co., Ltd.
- “Data and Business Journey” by Ms. Prinjarin Siriratchdanupap, Head of Marketing, Ascend Travel Co., Ltd.
In addition, the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) Southern Region Office presented its operational achievements. The event also included pitching sessions from five digital entrepreneurs featured in the Digital Services Account, offering an innovative platform to showcase solutions and foster new business opportunities.
Speaking at the opening, Governor Saranyasak Srikruanet emphasized:
“Phuket prioritizes the application of digital technology to drive economic development, city management, and enhance the quality of life for its people. Guided by the Smart City concept, and with AI as a key driver, Phuket aims to grow SMART and STRONG across urban development, the economy, and industry.”
Mr. Montawee Hongsyok, President of the Phuket Industrial Council, added:
“Technology today plays a vital role in both daily life and business. Integrating digital solutions and AI will enable cities and organizations to adapt more effectively, foster smart city development, and strengthen entrepreneurs’ competitiveness in the global market.”
More than just a knowledge-exchange platform, Digital Night 2025 marks the beginning of building a robust digital business network, laying the foundation for the sustainable development of Phuket Smart City in the years ahead.
