Phuket – On 10 December 2025 at 7:00 p.m., at Sanam Chai in Mueang Phuket District, Mr. Anupap Vechanichsanong, Vice President of the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization, presided over the opening ceremony of “Christmas Miracle of Hope” – The Light of Hope and Encouragement, which is part of the “Phuket Christmas Festival 2025” held from 10–14 December 2025
The event aims to create an atmosphere of hope, love, and joy for local residents and visiting tourists. It is organized in collaboration with the Good News for Everyone Project, Chris Mikkelson Evangelistic Ministries, and the Central Christian Community of Phuket, with venue support from the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization.
Pastor Manoonsak Kamonmatyakul, President of the Central Christian Community of Phuket, delivered a statement outlining the objectives of “Christmas Miracle of Hope” – The Light of Hope and Encouragement, noting that it is an honor for Phuket to be selected as one of 23 provinces participating in the Good News for Everyone Project. The festival features drama and Christmas music performances, prayer sessions, sharing of good news for all, and nightly prize giveaways throughout the five evenings — all offered free of charge as a Christmas and New Year gift for everyone to enjoy.
Christmas is a global festival celebrated worldwide in remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago — a day when divine light shone into the darkness, bringing love and peace to all.
During the opening ceremony, attendees observed a one-minute silence to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. At the end of the ceremony, pastors from churches across Phuket prayed together to bless the people of Phuket, followed by a commemorative group photo.
The public is invited to join “Christmas Miracle of Hope” – The Light of Hope and Encouragement (Phuket Christmas Festival 2025) from 10–14 December 2025, starting from 5:00 p.m. onwards at Sanam Chai (opposite the old Phuket Provincial Hall). Admission is free, with Christmas songs of love, messages of hope, and plenty of prizes waiting for all attendees.
