Phuket – On December 5, 2025 at 4:20 PM, at the Lan Lom area of Central Festival Phuket, Mr. Teerapong Chuaychu, Deputy Governor of Phuket, presided over the press conference announcing the organ donation campaign “One Act of Giving to Restore What Was Lost in Someone’s Life.”
The initiative is organized by the Meuang Rae Phuket Rotary Club, in collaboration with the Thai Red Cross Society, the Phuket Provincial Red Cross Chapter, and Vachira Phuket Hospital.
The event was attended by Ms. Thipanan Chomthepmala, President of the Meuang Rae Phuket Rotary Club; Dr. Weerasak Lorthongkham, Director of Vachira Phuket Hospital; the Vice President and committee members of the Phuket Red Cross Chapter; members of the Rotary Club; distinguished guests; and a large number of media representatives.

Ms. Thipanan Chomthepmala, President of the Meuang Rae Phuket Rotary Club, stated that the club recognizes the profound importance of limitless giving, which inspired the creation of this campaign. Its mission is to create opportunities for new life and to raise public awareness about the value of organ donation—an act that can give patients awaiting transplants the chance to live a complete life once again.

The event also featured an inspirational talk under the theme “Give… for Life to Continue,” presented by representatives of both donors— “the great givers”—and recipients whose lives were saved through organ transplantation.
Additionally, on-site organ donation registration was available at the event, as well as at the donation booth located at the walkway connecting Central Festival and Central Floresta from 5–7 December 2025.
Those interested may also register as organ donors or seek further information at the Phuket Provincial Red Cross Office or Vachira Phuket Hospital.
Become someone’s “great giver” today.
