Phuket – On December 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., Suuko Pavilion, located within Suuko Wellness & Spa Resort in Mueang Phuket District—one of the key exhibition venues of the international art festival Thailand Biennale, Phuket 2025—hosted the opening of “Suuko Art Market.”


The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Anchalee Vanich Teppabutra, President of the Phuket Art Association, and attended by Ms. Puangphaka Chaowwai, Phuket Provincial Cultural Officer, along with representatives from government and private sectors, artists, local residents, and tourists. The event drew a lively turnout, reflecting strong public interest and the vibrant energy of contemporary art that connects people of all generations.

“Suuko Art Market” is a creative space that seamlessly blends art and lifestyle, inviting visitors to walk, taste, explore, and shop for artworks, handicrafts, design pieces, and creative products by artists and creators. Guests can also enjoy food prepared by Mae Krua Juak Thong, alongside a wide range of activities and performances, including line dancing, To Be Number One performance, Taekwondo, Zumba, mini-concerts by artists from the Gulf of Thailand group, and colorful showcases by youth cosplay groups—together creating a fun, dynamic atmosphere throughout the day.

In addition, Suuko Pavilion is one of the 13 pavilions of Thailand Biennale, Phuket 2025, presenting contemporary artworks by Thai and international artists under the main theme “Eternal / Kalpa.” The theme explores the relationships between humanity, time, nature, and culture through diverse artistic expressions.


Among the key highlights is the “Gulf of Thailand Pavilion,” which conveys the narrative “Sound Waves from the Gulf Shore to Stories from the Edge of the Land,” presented through contemporary artworks by artists from the Gulf of Thailand region within the conceptual framework of Eternal / Kalpa. This pavilion stands as another significant milestone in driving Phuket forward as a World Art Destination.
