Phuket – On December 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at Phuket Vocational College, Phuket Province, Mr. Chalam Atthatham, Deputy President of the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization, presided over the opening ceremony of the Phuket Youth Digital Marketing Skills Development Project Using AI Influencer Technology. The project aims to strengthen advanced digital skills among young people, preparing them for the future labor market and the digital economy. Executives and representatives from relevant organizations were also in attendance.

Dr. Wittaya Ketchu, Director of Phuket Vocational College, stated on behalf of the project’s steering committee that the initiative focuses on developing human capital, enhancing advanced digital competencies, and promoting the creative economy as a key mechanism to increase the country’s competitiveness.

Phuket, as an international tourism hub, is steadily advancing toward becoming a Smart City, emphasizing the development of the digital economy and the creation of new career opportunities for young people. However, local youth—particularly those at the upper secondary and vocational education levels—still lack advanced digital skills, while the labor market increasingly demands professionals with expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and AI technologies. In particular, AI Influencer skills have emerged as a popular new career trend.

Developing youth knowledge and capabilities in digital marketing and AI Influencer technology is therefore a crucial approach to bridging the skills gap, reducing the risk of unemployment, and addressing inequality in career opportunities. This project will help empower young people to further their education, pursue freelance careers, or work collaboratively with businesses in Phuket’s tourism and service sectors, in alignment with the province’s creative economy and digital economy development strategies.

The project engaged 200 youths, students, and undergraduates from Phuket Province in training on digital marketing using AI Influencer technology. In addition, 50 participants received AI skills training under the theme “AI Skills for the Future: Preparing for the Digital Era.” The accompanying exhibition attracted 700 visitors, including members of the public and enterprises seeking to apply the knowledge to their businesses.

Phuket Vocational College is widely recognized for the quality of its educational management and workforce development, with strong collaboration from the private sector in nurturing young talent. These partnerships aim to produce a new generation of professionals whose skills align with labor market needs and to drive Phuket’s economy toward sustainable growth.
