Phang Nga – A monumental celebration of love reached new heights this Valentine’s Day as the world-class landmark, Beyond Skywalk Nangshi, was transformed into Thailand’s most stunning “Wedding Above the Horizon” runway. The event, “Beyond The Horizon Wedding,” brought together couples representing enduring love across four generations—from seasoned seniors to middle-aged pairs—to capture once-in-a-lifetime memories 180 meters above sea level, amidst the breathtaking panoramic sunrise of Phang Nga Bay.
The highlight of the ceremony was the participation of honorary VVIP couple, Mr. Pramookpisitt and Mrs. Tunyaratt Achariyachai, the visionary owners of Kata Group and Beyond Resorts. Representing the 70+ generation, the couple shared a long and devoted life together. They led the procession for a romantic “Re-vow” ceremony, reaffirming the definition of eternal love alongside three other couples in their 40s, 50s, and 60s.
A particularly touching moment this year was the fulfillment of a “Dream Wedding” for the 40+ couple. Despite having been legally married for years, they never had the chance to hold a formal celebration. This event served as the final piece of the puzzle, completing their love story perfectly amidst the gentle morning breeze and the golden sunrise. Meanwhile, the couples in their 50s and 60s took the opportunity to exchange vows once again, reflecting on the profound meaning of their decades-long companionship.
The atmosphere was defined by the elegance of a sophisticated yet warm Western-style wedding. All four generations of couples appeared in meticulously selected wedding attire, gracefully walking along the glass skywalk that seemed to merge seamlessly with the horizon. This historic scene beautifully demonstrated that “Love knows no age limits and is always beautiful when shared together.”
By showcasing the 360-degree vistas of Phang Nga Bay combined with modern luxury ceremonies, the event aims to position Phang Nga as an even more romantic destination for travelers and couples worldwide.
