Phuket, Thailand – On March 8, 2025, at 5:30 PM, Mr. Suwit Phansangiam, Deputy Governor of Phuket, presided over the SHE CARES – International Women’s Day 2026 event held at Kora Beach Resort Phuket. The event was organized by Ayana Circle in collaboration with Kora Beach Resort Phuket to celebrate the strength, health, and spirit of women in honor of International Women’s Day, under the theme “She Cares.”
The initiative aimed to inspire women through discussions on health, networking opportunities, and the sharing of positive energy that can be extended to the wider community.
The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including the Women Empowerment Forum, an inspirational discussion platform featuring influential women from diverse fields. The forum was led by Veena – Praveenar Singh, Miss Universe Thailand 2025, under the topic “The Power of Women Supporting Women.” Health and wellness experts also joined the session, sharing insights and experiences to empower, support, and connect women from all walks of life.
Another highlight of the event was the Charity Beach Fun Run, a 5-kilometer run held along Bang Tao Beach, encouraging participants to prioritize their health while reinforcing the importance of self-care so they can continue spreading positivity and support to others and society.
On this occasion, Mr. Suwit Phansangiam, Deputy Governor of Phuket, stated that International Women’s Day is an important moment for everyone to recognize the value, role, and power of women, who play a vital part in driving social, economic, and community development. He also expressed appreciation to Ayana Circle, Kora Beach Resort Phuket, and all partners involved in organizing the event, which provides an inspiring platform promoting health awareness and positive energy within society.
He further expressed hope that the “SHE CARES – International Women’s Day 2026” event would inspire and empower women, as well as all participants, and wished the event great success.
