The official welcoming doors are now open for Jouet D’ Art. The Victorian-style glass house café is located along Phanwa Beach, distinguished by its classic mint green color and interior decoration inspired by the 19th-century Circus and Art Toy art, in line with the meaning of the shop’s name, which translates to ‘Art Toy’.
The name Jouet D’ Art originates from the intention of the shop owner to present ‘cakes and pastries’ in a novel fusion of ‘science and art,’ aiming to offer a unique experience to everyone and add another dimension to the pastry scene in Phuket and throughout Thailand.
Jouet D’ Art pastry shop serves deliciousness throughout the day, featuring a fusion of French, Japanese, and Thai-style pastries that are unique and distinctive. The menu constantly introduces new items as all pastries are freshly crafted in the kitchen by the skilled pastry chef. The enticing beverages include coffee, tea, cocoa, soda, smoothies, cocktails, and mocktails. Guests can sip these delights while enjoying the panoramic views of the azure Andaman Sea and the Twilight Sky, where the sun sets in perfect alignment with Promthep Cape. It’s another highlight at Jouet D’ Art that no one should miss!

Jouet D’ Art was created by Chef Yui Lapatsara Lerdsuphamas, a pastry chef renowned in the world of desserts, and Khun Net – Sanfan Jitmitrapap, a dreamer and art enthusiast fascinated by art forms such as paintings, sculptures, and toys reflecting the essence of Art Toy. Both share a vision of the connection in the term “art,” believing that regardless of its crafted form, it always reflects uniqueness, much like the concept of “deliciousness in every dimension.” It goes beyond just pastries and beverages, extending to the delightful views, the ambiance of the glass house by the beach, and the charming warmth of the staff’s service.
One special feature of Jouet D’ Art pastry shop is that the entire packaging has been designed with the assistance of Arch Apolar, a cover artist for the 20th-anniversary edition of Harry Potter. With Arch Apolar’s design, Easter Egg characters are cleverly hidden within the patterns of various packaging, allowing everyone to embark on a search for them. The more packaging you collect, the more Easter Eggs you’ll discover!
All of this creates the slogan, ‘Everything in this shop is delicious!’
