Phuket – On July 24, 2024, at Central Phuket Shopping Center, Mr. Rewat Areerob, President of the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization, presided over the opening ceremony of the ‘Connect the Dot Phuket International Trade Fair – Phuket Health Expo.’ The event was attended by Mr. Kongsak Koopongsakorn, President of the Phuket Chamber of Commerce, government officials, and representatives from both the public and private sectors.
The Phuket Health Expo is being held from July 24 to 28, 2024, with the objective of promoting tourism and stimulating the overall economy of Phuket. Additionally, it aims to showcase Phuket’s potential as a Wellness Tourism Hub of Asia, promoting Health & Wellness Tourism, and establishing a new event for Phuket that could be scaled to a global level. The event is creating a comprehensive network of health product and service business partners throughout the supply chain, driving Phuket’s strategic plan in alignment with government policies.
The event features international products and technologies exhibited by chambers of commerce from across the country, as well as health products and services from various health associations in Phuket. There are also traditional Thai medicine services, including disease diagnosis, herbal medicine prescriptions, and custom-made medical formulations. Treatments and rehabilitation using traditional Thai methods such as massage, herbal compresses, and herbal steam baths are available. The expo also showcases five-star community products from across Phuket and includes a floating flower arrangement competition in spa baths, with prizes awarded to the winners.
