The event was welcomed by Mr. Saroj Angkanapilas, Mayor of Phuket City.

The Knowledge Market is an activity under the Capital Market Knowledge Caravan to the Regions project, nurturing young people as future investors through Fin Lab. The Office of Knowledge Management and Development (Public Organization) – OKMD, and Museum Siam have continuously collaborated to create beneficial projects.

Khun Rames Promyen, Deputy Director of the Office of Knowledge Management and Development, stated that OKMD, NDMI, and TK Park, which are public organizations under the Prime Minister’s supervision, have missions to promote public development, increase knowledge, and foster wisdom through public learning processes. In collaboration with Phuket City Municipality, they support and promote the establishment of tourism learning centers, integrating local uniqueness, Bang Niew Community Museum, Phuket Museum, and PK Park, as well as other creative learning spaces in Phuket Province.

This event utilized Phuket’s learning centers to disseminate essential knowledge that could change lives forever, particularly financial planning and investment from a young age. The “Capital Market Knowledge Caravan to the Regions and Nurturing Young Investors” or Fin Lab aims to ignite financial and investment skills through a variety of activities within the project, including the Knowledge Market. The Knowledge Market caravan will visit learning centers in eight provinces, focusing on imparting knowledge, creating understanding, and building financial, saving, and investment skills for youth.

In Southern Thailand, the event is held in Phuket from August 5-7, 2024, at Bang Niew Community Museum, Phuket Municipal School, Ban Bang Niew. Participants will engage in three Active Learning activities:

– **Interactive Workshop**: A participatory training session through the Investing King game, simulating the world of finance and investment on mobile devices.

– **Exhibition Fin Lab – Fantasy Battle**: An exhibition on the principles of principal, time, and returns through cosplay competitions and Battle-style games.

– **Knowledge Network Partners**: Booths from network partners offering financial and investment knowledge and activities.

It is expected that the Knowledge Market activity will help push and promote appropriate financial and investment skills among the youth, teach them to save and manage money for the future, and help them grow into capable and quality adults who can contribute to society, the economy, and the country’s progress.
