Phuket – On August 15, 2024, at Limelight Phuket, Mr. Adul Choothong and Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization President Mr. Rewat Areerob, presided over the short film competition and announced the winners of the 16th annual “Short Film Team Thai Kids” project under the theme “Get & Give – Just Giving Brings Happiness,” organized by the Child Protection Foundation of Phuket.
Dr. Supalak Kanchanamethakul, Chairperson of the Child Protection Foundation of Phuket, discussed the objectives of the project, stating, “The ‘Short Film Team Thai Kids’ project under the theme ‘Get & Give – Just Giving Brings Happiness’ was organized to use short films as a medium for public relations and to encourage children to engage in creative activities together. This year, students from six schools were selected to participate: Phuket Municipality School, Wichitsongkram School, Plukpanya Municipal School under Royal Patronage, Patong Municipality School (Ban Sai Nam Yen), Chalermprakiat Somdej Phra Srinagarindra School, and Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization School, Ban Talad Nua (Teacher’s Day 2502).”
The competition results are as follows:
– First Prize: Phuket Municipality School for “Behind the Scenes”
– Popular Vote and First Runner-Up: Plukpanya Municipal School for “Chokchai the Volunteer”
– Second Runner-Up: Patong Municipality School for “Victory”
– Consolation Prize: Chalermprakiat Somdej Phra Srinagarindra School for “Time”
