Phuket – On November 19, 2023, Mr. Saroj Angkanapilas, Mayor of Phuket City, along with Mr. Rewat Areerob, President of Phuket Provincial Administration Organization, Ms. Kritaporn Kittiwongsanti, Member of Phuket City Municipality Council District 1, Mr. Phedjet Wuttichan, President of the Community Tourism Charter, Khun Anchalee Vanich Thepbutra, President of the Phuket Arts Association, participated in the opening ceremony of the ‘Street of Art @ Phuket’ event, which attracted the attention of Thai and foreign citizens, as well as the media, at Pradit Alley, Phang Nga Road, Talad Yai, Mueang Phuket.
The activities in the event included:
- Art Workshop by Mr. Watcharin Rodnit and an art exhibition ‘Van Goh’ by Tree O’clock.
- Fashion show featuring Yayee brand, a popular brand in Phuket, with models from Rajabhat Phuket University.
- Award-winning metal sculpture performances from Phuket Rajabhat University.
- Art exhibition featuring various local Phuket artists.
- Musical performances by YamaHa Music School, Phuket.
The ‘Street of Art @ Phuket’ event aims to support Charter Walking Street, promote the overall economic development of Phuket province, and will feature diverse activities every Sunday evening.
