Jungceylon Shopping Center, Patong, Phuket, is set to host a special event in celebration of World Environment Day and World Ocean Day. The public and tourists are warmly invited to visit the exhibition “JUNGCEYLON ART FOR OCEANS,” showcasing creative artworks made from recycled waste materials. These pieces are transformed into sculptures of   marine animals   to reflect the environmental impact of waste on underwater life—especially on rare and endangered species.

The exhibit features imaginative representations of creatures such as   dugongs, sea turtles, giant octopuses, starfish, whales, and coral reefs. Alongside the sculptures, informative boards will be on display to educate visitors about the importance of   marine conservation, the growing problem of   plastic pollution, and the serious threats it poses now and in the future.

The event will also feature many   local Phuket artists, who will share their perspectives and present innovative artworks crafted from recycled materials. Visitors can also shop for creative souvenirs directly from the artists.

The “JUNGCEYLON ART FOR OCEANS” exhibition runs from   now until June 8, 2025, at   The Bay Arena   in   Jungceylon Shopping Center, Patong, Phuket.
