
Phuket – June 8, 2025 – Mr. Suwit Phunsngiam, Deputy Governor of Phuket, together with Mr. Supakorn Suwan, President of the Andaman Power Phuket Association; Ms. Siriwan Singharach, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Phuket Office); and the Deputy Mayor of Patong Municipality, led a parade of over 2,000 people. Participants included representatives from government and private sectors, the LGBTQIAN+ community of Phuket, and the Pride City Network.




The spectacular parade featured vibrant and colorful processions from LGBTQIAN+ individuals of all ages, celebrating equality and inclusion. The parade began at Duangjitt Resort and proceeded along Bangla Road to The Bay Arena at Jungceylon Shopping Center, Patong. Along the way, the crowd was dazzled by over 20 performance sets including extravagant flash shows from Phuket Simon Cabaret, Phuket FantaSea, Carnival Magic, and Jungceylon Shopping Center. The event embraced the joyful and colorful theme of “Pride Month,” aiming to elevate Community Pride Phuket to a global stage.
This initiative is also part of Thailand’s effort to host the InterPride Virtual General Meeting & World Conference 2025 and World Pride 2030.



The Phuket Pride Festival 2025 in Patong ran from June 2–8, 2025, with various areas in Patong showcasing Thailand’s strong stance in promoting equality, human rights, and acceptance of diversity in a creative and empowering manner. The festival also contributes to strengthening and sustaining gender diversity while boosting Phuket’s and Thailand’s economy.
