The Rotary Foundation District 3330, Thailand, in collaboration with District 3600, South Korea, has successfully completed the underwater sculpture project titled “The Magical of Save Underwater World” at Siam Bay, Racha Yai Island. The initiative aims to conserve coral reefs, restore marine ecosystems, and promote sustainable tourism.
From April 7–10, 2026, the journey of the Hanuman Manifestation sculpture to Siam Bay, Racha Yai Island was carried out. Installation of the underwater sculptures began from April 11–15, 2026. The full installation of the Hanuman structure was successfully completed, consisting of 47 pieces. In addition, 15 pieces of 3D-printed fence-like structures and 11 coral-shaped 3D-printed pieces were installed. Altogether, a total of 73 pieces were deployed in the Siam Bay area as planned. The depth from the water surface to the top of Hanuman’s head is 12 meters, and from the surface to the seabed is 19 meters.

Mr. Sasawat Limpanit, former President of the Rotary Club of Phuket Mining and Project Chairman, joined officials from the Racha Islands Protected Area Management Unit and volunteer divers to inspect the project site. The success of this project was made possible through collaboration among 16 Rotary Clubs from District 3330 and District 3600 in South Korea, as well as support from government agencies, private sector partners, and local communities.
This underwater sculpture site will serve as a “new home for marine life,” with structures designed to encourage coral attachment and growth, helping to restore the marine ecosystem. It also aims to promote eco-tourism and serve as a long-term learning resource to raise awareness about natural resource conservation.
As for the next phase, the Underwater Art Museum will expand with additional sculptures following Hanuman, including Rama, Thotsakan (Ravana), and Suphannahong (Golden Mermaid). The project aspires to become a major global landmark at Siam Bay, Racha Yai Island. The sculptures are created by the Phuket Art Association.
