Chonburi, Thailand – At this year’s The Vega Rudder Long Distance Race and the Thailand International Sailing Championships 2026, held in Chonburi Province, YRAT has, for the first time, formally included the S/V 14 (SV14 Inclusive Class) in the competition lineup.

The S/V 14 races were held at Ocean Marina Jomtien, featuring Thai sailors competing in this category. Their participation reflects the capability, determination, and continued development of para-sailing athletes in Thailand. Following the races, athletes attended the official awards ceremony at the Krungching Room, Royal Thai Fleet Officers Club, Sattahip District, Chonburi.

The introduction of the S/V 14 class is not merely the addition of a new race category—it represents expanded opportunities, greater inclusivity, and serves as an inspiration, reinforcing that sailing is truly a sport for everyone. This milestone would not have been possible without the collective efforts of YRAT, Ocean Marina Jomtien, the event organizers, and all supporting partners, who have played a vital role in driving this important first step forward.
