Phuket – On January 30, 2024, 5.30 pm at Shaman Phuket Lounge Cafe Bar, Cherng-talay, Thalang, Phuket, Future Challenges Co.,Ltd., represented by Miss Krissana Makaphan – Managing Director, and Mr. Decha Suaydee – Managing Director and Creative Director, signed the contract for the acquisition of business of “Miss Mom Phuket Thailand” with Miss Jantana Jaikwang – Managing Director of Southern and Sun Media, owner and manager of “Miss Mom Phuket Thailand” contest. There was also the Miss Mom’s logo – handover ceremony to the new management team, with witnessed by Miss Mom’s members, honored guests, supporters, and the media.
Furthermore, there was an announcement of the position for Miss Mom 2023’s Runner-up in order to fill up the vacant position, and also adding the 4th Runner-up as new position. Miss Chatranalin Chotjiraworachat, Miss Intercontinental 2023, has joined as a mentor, and the senior Miss Moms collectively presented crowns and sashes amid the red carpet ambiance and the fragrance of the beauty pageant.
Mr. Decha Suaydee, Managing Director and Creative Director, also acting as the contest mamager, spoke about the acquisition of Miss Mom’s business, stating that it was due to his extensive involvement in the major beauty pageant scene in Bangkok. Having been part of the management team behind the scenes for a long time, he found the work challenging, enjoyable, and aligned with his personal preferences.
With a history of supporting costume production for various competitions and receiving awards, he felt the desire to create his own stage. Last year, he assisted the Miss Mom stage as the contest manager, gaining the opportunity to experience the working atmosphere. Recognizing the potential for elevated development, he decided to take on the challenge and fully commit to the takeover of this business.
As for the plans after taking on full management responsibilities, Mr. Decha said that, it will begin with the process of copyrighting the stage. The application for copyright has been successfully filed in the organizational format, operating as “Miss Mom Phuket Organization”. This signifies the administration’s effort to expand the business with diverse activities and broaden its scope, such as creating a new brand, establishing subsidiary stages, and exploring various other platforms.
Additionally, there are plans to elevate the stage by transforming its format into a national-level contest with increased international prominence. This initiative starts with earnestly accepting applications from participants across Thailand, actively searching for beautiful mothers in each province, and emphasizing Phuket as a significant landmark for the future international-level competition stage.
The organization will also conduct events to promote and support tourism, focusing on local traditions and culture of the province. This aligns with various sectors, including government agencies, private enterprises, associations, and societies, especially those involved in promoting tourism through collaborations with renowned individuals.
The organization aims to invite beauty queens from major stages, artists, and various celebrities to participate in activities. Additionally, there are plans to collaborate with influencers who have a significant online presence and enhance the province’s public relations in the media, presenting news and updates efficiently, consistently, and rapidly.
Mr. Decha further mentioned that Miss Mom Organization will collaborate with the brand Elite Creations, a producer and creator of costume works, design, and event management led by Decha Suaydee, who has previously received awards for costume design in major international beauty pageants and has a history of creating imaginative costume works for prominent stages. He will also spearhead the collaboration along with a nationwide network, by having been established a comprehensive system with a focus on quality in both Phuket and Bangkok. The team will also emphasize diversity and harnessing the abilities of young blood or the new generation of team members, which is a key aspect of this collaboration.
Furthermore, there is a focus on incorporating technology into the operations more extensively, aiming for agility and modernity. Collaboration with influencers and various platforms on social media will be increased. The selection process for competition participants will be further developed to be more efficient and rigorous, including document verification and selection based on the concept of each year. The organization seeks to discover diverse and talented beauties who can showcase their potential and unique abilities. These abilities should not only be a source of personal growth but also bring benefits to both the organization and the participants. Examples include artistic design, athleticism, musical talents, coaching in various disciplines, and performance skills. The competition network is structured to provide beauty queens with opportunities for business and societal advancement on a broader scale.
Mr. Decha added that Miss Mom also has plans to temporarily send beauty queens under its management to participate in international stages. This initiative aims to leverage the knowledge and experiences gained from attending various beauty pageants to enhance their performances and promote their international image further.
