Phuket – September 13, 2024, at Saphan Hin Park, Phuket, Mr. Norasak Suksomboon, Phuket Vice Governor, along with Mr. Suchart Saengchan, Inspector General of the Department of Fisheries, the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property, and Mr. Saroj Angkhanapilas, Phuket City Mayor, jointly opened the **”Phuket Lobster Festival 2024″**, which runs from September 13-15, 2024.
This festival is organized by Phuket Province, in collaboration with the Phuket Fisheries Office and Pracharath Rak Samakkhi Phuket Company (Social Enterprise), to add value to local products and promote the sustainable use of natural resources. Visitors can enjoy the delicious taste of Phuket lobster, prepared with special recipes and unique cooking techniques.
In addition to a wide variety of dishes made with Phuket lobster, the event also features a panel discussion on the “Future of Phuket Lobster”, an award ceremony for youth winners of the art competition, and a variety of vendors selling different products.
Phuket Lobster is an economically significant marine species for Phuket and is highly popular for consumption both domestically and internationally. Known for its fresh, sweet, and crispy texture, Phuket Lobster dishes are in high demand in the premium seafood market. Besides its great taste, Phuket lobster is also highly nutritious, being a good source of high-quality protein and important minerals, making it increasingly recognized on the global stage.
