
Phuket – On Sunday, April 20, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Phuket Province, in collaboration with government agencies, private sector partners, and the local community, held a press conference to launch the “Bukit Jazz Summit 2025” in front of the On-On Hotel, along Charter Walking Street on Phang Nga Road in Phuket Old Town.
The press conference featured key speakers including Mr. Piyarat Kotan, representative of the event organizers; Mr. Narong On-in, Head of Phuket Provincial Office; Ms. Suneerat Rujimas, Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Phuket Office; and Mr. Thawatchai Chaisalee, a board member of the Charter Community-Based Tourism Enterprise.



The “Bukit Jazz Summit 2025” is scheduled to take place from April 23 to 30, 2025, at various participating restaurants and bars throughout Phuket Old Town. A special highlight will be held on April 27, 2025, along Charter Walking Street and in the heart of the Old Town.
The event aims to foster connections among musicians, business owners, government agencies, and educational institutions, while promoting music-based tourism and structured public relations. Additionally, it strives to blend contemporary arts and culture with the unique identity of Phuket’s Old Town by transforming Phang Nga Road into a creative hub of sound and jazz-inspired inspiration.
The event also featured a Q&A session with the media, group photo opportunities, and a live jazz performance by the Bukit Jazz Ensemble, which filled the venue with joyful melodies amid the backdrop of colonial architecture and the authentic charm of the Old Town.




Phuket Province extends a warm invitation to the public, tourists, and media to join “Bukit Jazz Summit 2025”, and be part of the collective effort to shape Phuket into a UNESCO Creative City of Music in a sustainable and enduring way.
