Phuket – On Sunday, 26 April 2026, at Sukko Pavilion’s Four Regions Sala, the closing event “Biennale Finale Art Encounters” brought a vibrant and joyful atmosphere. The venue was filled with both Thai and international visitors who gathered to celebrate the final moments of the international contemporary art festival Thailand Biennale, Phuket 2025, before passing the baton to Rayong Province, the next host in 2027.

The event was honored by Ms. Kasorn Kamnerdpetch, Director-General of the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC), alongside Ms. Anchalee Vanich Thepbutr, President of the Phuket Art Association, who warmly welcomed artists, the public, and representatives from various sectors in large numbers.

The event venue, Sukko Pavilion, also known as the “Four Regions Sala,” served as one of the festival’s key highlights under the concept “Eternal [Kalpa] – นิรันดร์ [กัลป์].” It showcased over 100 artworks by local artists from across Thailand, reflecting the nation’s wisdom, culture, and timeless beauty within a single space. Located within Sukko Spa in Chalong, Phuket, the venue features traditional Thai-style exhibition buildings alongside outdoor sculpture spaces, set amidst a serene natural environment—ideal for an immersive art experience.

The finale activities began with a captivating solo saxophone performance by Ajarn Pian Rodbon, leaving a strong impression on the audience. This was followed by a lively ‘ramwong’ long-drum dance performance, which received an enthusiastic response as attendees joined in the dance, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

In addition to the performances, the event was enriched with colorful long-drum shows, communal dancing, and the sharing of local delicacies for visitors to enjoy. These elements combined to create a sense of warmth, fun, and community spirit.
